I finished the Dave Ramsey “Financial Peace University” class and was struck by the issue of “Stewardship”. Obviously he was focused on money, but as I watched it I could not help but think of the stewardship we are given over our time. If God grants us our every breath, and He does, then I suppose we are supposed to do something worthwhile with the time he gives us.
This realization has caused some angst in my life as I consider the various activities I engage in on a daily basis. I wonder how many of them would be looked upon with approval by God. I am afraid it is not the whole 24 hours…maybe just over half, since I assume He at least approves of an appropriate amount of sleep.
I am going to work harder at using my time wisely…I you will too.
